"The staff were great and my wife loved the coffee. Air conditioning was nice and quiet (what a change from other hotels!) and worked well. Breakfast was good - I see a lot of raves, I don't understand that but it was more than adequate. Odd thing was that the bed frame was hollow steel form (likely because we were in a pet-friendly room) and we seemed to constantly tap it and create a booming sound! Place and grounds are undergoing renovation so it will be better in the future. Very odd coming into the hotel, from Route 3, and a vacant building is our first view."

"This is a nice hotel, conveniently located in the center of the NYC financial district. There are many bars, restaurants and activities within easy walking distance (only .6 mile to the 911 Memorial), and subway stations are nearby. The hotel rooms are small and pretty basic, but they are clean and our bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area is safe. I would stay here again."

"I stayed for 5 hours overnight during an overnight layover when returning from travel abroad.. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The confirmation email had no information about a shuttle and my text messages through the app went unanswered. When I arrived I was able to call to confirm the availability of a shuttle. The shuttle driver wasn't friendly and didn't respond to my greeting but he did get me to the hotel safely. The night staff were perfunctory and not friendly but they did their job to check me in."

"It was my first time using a fold-out bed, so I was surprised at first, but the staff set it up for me, which was a great help. The room was clean, the elevator arrived quickly, and the location is convenient—just across the street from the ferry terminal and about a five-minute walk to Wall Street Station."

"Affordable and very close to a metro station. The staff was very helpful and the place was very well maintained and clean. It comes with a laundry room and although it has communal bathrooms, it was very clean and posed no issue. The rooms were certainly small with no room for a chair and the only place to sit down was on the bed which is not very wide. It had a TV and only downside for me as there was no ice machine. I will definitely stay here again when in NYC and comfortable and felt very safe."

"I had a fantastic time up there, it was well center and pretty close to everything around the area, a great bargain for your buck especially around that area when most hotel were going for $500 a night, close to the memorial site for 9/11, the bed was super comfortable, the room was spacious, clean and smelled good, the gym was well equipped and functioning, the coffee machine in the lobby was amazing, and the views outside the one40 restaurant were incredible, the staffs were friendly and willingly to help, especially Arden, she really went above and beyond to help make sure we were comfortable and provide all the necessary information that we needed, and Solomon as well, I will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone visiting Manhattan New York."
