The check-in was easy & the front desk gentleman was friendly. Tidy room. Very odd structured building; kind of like a maze. The bed is SO hard. Kinda disappointed about the bed. Otherwise, it’s a quiet place and seems safe. Hope we can find our way out.

We stay at the Lemon Tree everytime we go to Santa Barbara. Even though its nice because of all of the lemon trees our last room was a old and dated. Hopefully renovations are done to all the rooms.

We’ve stayed here many times before but I think this was our last booking with them. Front desk staff was friendly and checked us in quick. The room however was awful. Mold on the wall in the closet which is the back of the shower and on the wall next to the shower. Tile in the shower didn’t look like it was properly grouted and caulked so I’m sure there’s more mold going on under that tile too. My asthma was quite irritated during our two nights. The shower pressure was a joke, it was barely trickling out inches from the wall and it was either too hot or luke warm. The hairdryer almost caught fire the first night. There was also a piece of a metal plug broken off in that outlet. When I called the front desk, they offered to send a new hairdryer, but didn’t even attempt to offer me a new room about the mold. Clearly they don’t care about their guests health. There’s also paint peeling off of the building, it’s in need of maintenance! The only good thing about this property was the Crocodile Bar, it was actually good food.

We arrived to find that the Elevator did not work and we had to carry all of our luggage to our second floor room. The room was dingy the bed and bedding were worn and unappealing. The Tub in in bathroom had Black mold around the sides and was cracked and rusted. Ther was still a bar of soap in the tub from the last occupant. The Bathroom floor was dirty. The following day the coffee service in the room was not refreshed nor was the Bat Mat replaced. Though the property was supposed to be non-smoking our room was constantly reeking of smoke from the next room. For a room that was almost $300.00 a night, it was a disgrace.

We regret such a negative reaction from any stay at our Inn. Our staff is always happy to address any issues 24/7. We were unable to find a stated almost 300 rate during your stay, regardless we are sorry things did not go well during your time with us.The Lemon Tree Inn has 96 well appointed guest rooms, most with Private Balcony or Lanai facing our Tropical Courtyard with Large Heated Swimming Pool, Sundeck and Tiki Bar. Guests also enjoy our famous Crocodile Restaurant and Bar for convenient on-site Dining.

This property has a large pool and its heated. The rooms were large. Lots of trees to hide the property from street view. Coffee and convenience sstore close by. Definitely stay here again.

The Lemon Tree is located at the Center of Paradise and is a wonderful place to stay. Our friendly staff welcomes you to enjoy our Crocodile Restaurant and Bar and our 96 well appointed guest rooms. Most rooms have a private balcony or lanai facing our lush Tropical Courtyard with Large Heated Swimming Pool, SunDeck and Tiki Bar.

Certain areas look nice on the property. Certain areas dont. Our room looked pretty bad which lowered our over all experience scuff marks all over the walls hand prints on walls plaster hole patching in bathroom. Guys its simple to spot paint.

I loved our first floor patio room looking out onto the courtyard full of trees and pool. However, the bed cover and rug were a bit too shabby and worn out for it to feel luxurious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant served very tasty food.

Well, bedding was super weird, 2 standard pillows, that were not of hotel quality, comforter on bed looked like something from a used garage sale. No washcloths. Some metal thing under bed that was strange& loud. You could hear everything from other rooms like they were in your room& charged a security deposit upon check in. For the price spent this should have been a 2 *only and know more $180/night. Ridiculous price for this room! Disappointed Expedia!

We do regret the mix-up in releasing a room that was not ready. The carpet was cleaned and room was not straightened, which was done for guests who were reported to be otherwise pleased with the room for their stay.Our friendly staff is eager to make every stay at the Lemon Tree an enjoyable time.

We really liked that the Lemon Tree Inn had a fancy restaurant inside! Made it so easy to go dine in and come back to the hotel room. Our stay was great!

I really enjoyed staying here. For the price it was one of the better deals on State Street. Room was really clean, and spacious. Hopefully next time I stay here, it will be warmer and I'll be able to use the pool facilities. The staff in the office were pleasant, and helpful.

Decent but needs updating.
Decent room, comfortable bed. Definitely could use some updating. Chips in the paint and rust in the bathroom. The shower floor looked dirty but is probably just old. The on-site restaurant is surprisingly good. Very friendly service.
