Quick walk to downtown or the convention center
Spent two nights in San Jose. Location is great to walk to the thirty plus restaurants nearby. You can walk to the Shark's game from here. Place has nice looks from a time long past with modern furnishings.

Very comfortable, historic home with new amenities
It was really neat to stay in a piece of history. The home was huge inside. Recently renovated with all of the modern amenities. A block walk away from the SAP center. Great location from which to tourist SF Bay area

Some misrepresentations in this listing.
This place is beautiful on the inside and bigger than it looks online. But you should know ahead of time that you will be disappointed in the location. It is just steps away from active train tracks, sandwiched between a highway overpass and corner bevmart which sees a lot of action. I would hardly pan the place -- it's a lovely house -- but it really pays to know this upfront, as it is an undeniable aspect of what you will experience when at this property. The backyard photo was also misleading. That area was a mess and, we were told after arriving, off limits to us.
