"I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. "Solid spot Check in what friendly. They gave me a few extras like a food credit to the restaurant but I didn't get a chance to go. Rooms were nice. Location is ideal, short walk to the wharf and right across a trader joes. Also fairly close to the North end of town with all the Italian spots. Safe to walk around. Absolutely would stay again."
