"Definitely historical. There are so many updates that could be done to this hotel without disturbing the history though. Our room had fixtures like a shelf above the sink that was falling out of the wall, the bathtub was not able to be used except to shower as there was no plug for the drain, just little minor things to update the rooms."

"The room was very clean and quiet. They are pet friendly with a 50.00 charge. We picked up a puppy on our way to visit family so it was perfect. My daughter loved the pool. Husband and daughter said the breakfast was great. I had a hard time finding the hotel, but we made it. I would recommend this hotel to everyone traveling with pets and kids."

"This hotel was clean, but dated. It has an older feel to it. I was a little surprised when we arrived and discovered what we had actually booked. It was rated 9+ stars on Hotels.com. I do not feel this rating was truly accurate for what my expectations were. Not a bad hotel, just overrated."
