"The house was fantastic! There is a beautiful view of the lake, we got to see deer multiple times a day as well! The decorations in the house makes it look like a magazine. The house was stocked with all the kitchen utensils you need. We had trouble with the fancy coffee maker, so we ended up buying a cheap one in town. The beds were very comfortable, with lots of extra pillows. It takes around 20 minutes to get to town and the water is about a 3 minute drive from the house. The paddleboard was...

"Stayed during a Convention, so never tried the, "made to order" breakfast. Loved the complimentary drinks. With how many people were there, the staff stayed as quickly as possible, friendly as possible and kept the common areas as clean as possible. The facility is a little dated, carpets could definitely use some love and our Spa Tower Corner Suite could definitely use some special attention as in Bleach or total remodel to rid it of a certain, "growth". It would've been nice to see a café option open more than just a few hours also. Overall, it is close to dining, shopping, held the convention and staff was great."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was in town for medical appointments, so having a clean, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay really helped put me at ease. The hotel was exceptionally clean, both inside and out. The staff was friendly throughout my stay, and the front desk associate was especially helpful and kind during check-in. She made the process easy and made me feel welcome. I also appreciated how well-lit the outside of the property was. It made me feel safe coming and going, especially in the early morning and evening. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely stay here again if I’m back in the area for future appointments. Highly recommend!"

"I really enjoyed my stay at The Compton, and I look forward to visiting again. It's beautiful, luxurious, thoughtful, and calm. The design throughout the hotel, from lobby to room, is absolutely wonderful. Turndown service was unexpected and came with sweet, local little momentos. The staff was wonderful throughout, and Eric at the front desk made me feel so welcome and special at every encounter. The restaurant on-site was great, with creative menu options. The proximity to the square was ideal, so walkable. There was a free parking garage very close by. Without a doubt, I'll be back for another peaceful getaway."
