For those of you that question this resort, here is my opinion.
Resort is beautiful
Friendly staff with top notch customer service
Beautiful rooms with plenty of space
awesome pools, lazy river & entertainment
Close enough to main area of Cancun, yet far enough away that you’re away from the crazies ( were there during spring break)
As far as the beach/gulf waters go….good pics from afar, but yes there is some seaweed. How much seaweed can be change each day depending on the weather and amount of wind.
Up close, the water is browner than some like, but it’s still swimmable as long as the weather allows. It wouldn’t hurt to bring water shoes, as you never know what is beneath you.
For those of you that read about the crocodile 🐊 in the water. Yes, it’s true that they shut down the beach for a most of one of the days that we were there. I spoke to several employees ( I speak Spanish) and they said that it is pretty rare for the crocs to come out, especially into the salt water as they are not normally salt water animals.
The resort is surrounded by bright green mangroves and that is a good crocodile habitat. It also makes for some good pics of nature!
Most of the food was pretty good! Be sure and get some of the tacos at the buffet, they are 🔥🔥🔥🔥! The hibachi grill was an experience and all of the seafood that we had was great!
The kids were safe (6 , 6 and 10) and had a blast!
We went with another family and we will all definitely be back!
