Aside from a late check in , about an hour late on their part , and small rooms or more specific small bathrooms , the hotel experience was very nice. Clean and updated rooms, very nice indoor pool area, and just a beautiful hotel and location . I will definitely return some day.

"Great location, with elevators. "
Hotel Clarendon is in a perfect location, with elevators, too! Many of the major attractions on the Upper Level of Old Quebec are within a 10 minute walk. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in keeping us in the same room, extending a tour-related room to an individual-pay room. The hotel breakfast buffet is tasty and varied, including my requisite chocolate croissants. The room we had with two double beds had little extra room to move and a small bathroom- I would not recommend for more than two people.

We were welcomed by a friendly and very helpful staff, who continued to be just as helpful throughout our 3 night stay. The hotel was recently renovated and is elegant in a classic old Quebec manner, while offering the comforts and amenities travelers enjoy today.

Hotel Le Priori

"Wonderful hotel in great area!"
We just returned from our first trip to Quebec City and Priori Hotel. The hotel has great character and set in a perfect location for ambience and convenient location. Initially, we were disappointed by the very very small (standard) room size of 175 sq feet and called to request larger and more expensive room or suite, however hotel was sold out. It did not take long to settle in and adjust to the small quarters due to the "cozy" warmth of the rooms decor. On our last day, we were able to see room across the hall and was surprised to learn it was also a "standard" room as it was larger and so much brighter. The room had two large windows and faced the street/port side of hotel, compared to ours which overlook back terrace and minimal light coming in. We will no know for next time to book different room, even if having to pay more. The (free) breakfast was excellent and set up in small quaint room - loved the latte's and best French Toast and staff! Will return with hopes of brighter slightly larger room.

"Well run hotel with accommodating staff"
We stayed for 4 nights in August and found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. They helped with restaurant recommendations, best ways to get around, and took good care of our car. The room was a good size and the bathroom had a shower stall and separate tub with shower; both very nice. If you book with Expedia, please be aware that the number of guests per room doesn't always come over to the hotel so it's best to call them before arrival to confirm.
