The hostess is so sweet, energetic, and caring. The building is a fantastic blend of antiques and original artwork. The rooms are spacious, and everything was is great working order. We loved the cute little balcony with great views. We felt right at home. The location is right in middle of everything - just a few minutes walk to the Le Château Frontenac, the Citadel, etc., but yet the street itself is very quiet. Castel d'Amerique was without a doubt rhe best bed and breakfast we have stayed at. Rooms were huge, common areas were wonderfully decorated, and the breakfast enjoyable. No elevator but we did not mind. Our hostess Jolanta was very accommodating. The stairs are very steep. The room was large. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean.
