"My sisters and I took my mom to the island for her 70th. This condo was the perfect location for us to explore Rathtrevor, Qualicum, Coombs…it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed (stocked kitchen with dishes etc) and allowed us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The beds were super comfortable and there were more than enough linens. The beach chairs, toys and wagon are a great touch!!"

"Close walking access to the beach. Lots of local hiking in the area. Property clean and well equipped! Disappointed that there is not actual pool or hot tub access as indicated in the listing. There is an option at a neighboring resort complex but you must pay a drop in fee. I would suggest the listing be updated to reflect this in order to limit disappointment for families."

"Location was amazing. Just a short drive to Port Alberni to get any necessities. My wife,two toddlers, along with two other couples stayed here. At no time did we feel like there wasn't enough space for everyone to enjoy. There was a very nice grassy area out front for the kids to play. The backyard was also an awesome area to hang out with great views and a hot tub big enough for all the adults who were staying. Adriana was easy to reach and very responsive. "Lovely suite with comfortable furnishings and the surrounding area is very nice. They have small children but they didn't bother us. The down side was the weather which was very cold and wet for the whole week."

"This is our second time at the Tanglewood complex, and it was as pleasant as the first. The proximity to the beach is so convenient. The unit was just the right size for a family of 4. Little bonuses like beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, and no shortage of towels a plus. Thanks for the stay!"

"Cozy, rustic little cabin - a little small for 6 mature adults - only 4 chairs for dining. Great location but hard to find in the dark. The outhouse and woodstove came in handy when the power was out. We had a great time tho'!"
