"The house was spacious. Though it has one bathroom, the bedrooms are big enough. All amenities were working. The place was in gated community, and well surrounded by nature. From Main street is bit of drive to get in and out."

"The b and b is more like an air b and b. No meals prepared bu supplies were there for breakfast. The bed was a double and I would have preferred as queen. The bed was quite firm also. E we’re the first guests this spring and the owners were not quite prepared for us. It was a pleasant stay but could have been better"

"My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book."

"The inside of the house has been completely updated and is very nice. The front deck gets the morning sun and the back deck afternoon sun so it is perfect for enjoying the decks. The location is great for access to local shops and restaurants and the beach. It is on a fairly busy street but that is the trade off for being able to walk to so many places. The yard was needing some TLC but perhaps that is because we were there in April. Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would stay...

"We just stayed for work but it has lots of room, lake access and play area for kids. The house is fully setup and includes everything needed. We had 4 adults staying in each room and were able to park 4 vehicles. Hosts were very quick to respond. Thanks for the stay!"

"The house is designed perfectly for a small family reunion. We celebrated a 90th birthday and it was brilliant. We had dinner parties for 20, using the ample and well-appointed kitchen. It was easy to be all together in the great room, or spread out slightly for smaller conversations on the huge deck or in adjoining tv room."

"I worked all week, and my family came to stay with me. My husband was able to take our grandchildren on endless adventures from Nanaimo to Qualicum, Coombs Parksville and Errington. It is a great location and a perfect family home. The cabin was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable for the family. It is a fantastic vacation home for a family with a great backyard, two bathrooms, and a perfect kids' room. We had a wonderful stay with many memories made."

"My friend and I were looking for a quiet house in the woods for a few days and this place was just that. The view from the balcony (when it’s not foggy) was so nice and peaceful to enjoy after a long day. Everything inside was clean and tidy. Keep in mind that this house is located on a windy dirt road at the top of a hill. Wasn’t an issue for us and the dry conditions we had but just thought it should be mentioned. It definitely adds to the “remote, woodsy” feel of the place though"

"We booked this for a get away for my parents with my sister and her spouse. The location was fantastic being incredibly private and relaxing with great vista views and awesome amenities. It had everything we needed, and more. You can tell this place is loved and I can absolutely see myself returning. The hosts were awesome and responsive. I highly recommend this place!!"
