" Cozy cottage with everything you need. Amazing view of the lake and sunrise and nature. Cottage was clean and thoughtfully stocked with games, books, cookware, extra blankets and pillows. Best thing was the hot tub. Sitting in there at night with a ten degree temp and a light snow was relaxing and magical. We were lucky enough to view the full moon which I dont think was included in the amenities but was a nice touch. A perfect home base for enjoying the wine/breweries and all local restaurants. Highly recommend and plan to return to enjoy during summer months."

"The room was clean and quiet. The bedding was clean and very comfortable. Shower was also strong and hot,awesome. The room heater took little time to warm up about 15 minutes. Free bottle of wine and free wine tasting for two. Highly recommended "

"The Benjamin Hotel was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. It’s an unmanned boutique hotel, and the process was seamless—they text you a door code, which made check-in incredibly easy. There are only about four rooms, located in a beautifully renovated space above shops in downtown Watkins Glen. Our room was spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a lovely kitchenette featuring a full-size refrigerator, the largest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and a large enclosed (unheated) balcony room that added so much extra space, although it was winter when we went so if we didn’t use it. The bathroom was truly luxurious: a double-headed shower on one end and a full-size bathtub on the other, complete with complimentary bath bombs—a wonderful touch. In addition to the usual complimentary tea and coffee, they also provided a Nespresso machine and free snacks, which felt generous and welcoming."
