While at first glance not what I initially expected it was a wonderful stay! The family that runs it was very friendly and accommodating. The view was indeed gorgeous and the room was clean and fresh. Wonderful stay we will be back!

The room was utilitarian but sparkling clean. Staff went above and beyond. Yes... it has a gorgeous view and is convenient to the village. I recommend for couples.

I knew this was a bare bones motel and very basic, but was surprised at how cheap feeling it was. The shower was very tiny---can't bend down to your feet without stepping out of the shower. The curtains barely covered the windows and the room itself smelled a bit musty. Also, it was a little further out of town than we calculated and wished we would have stayed closer so we did not have to drive to town. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice, the bed was big and comfortable. We only stayed one night, so it served it's purpose.

My wife and I take a 3-day vacation in Watkins Glen, visiting Watkins Glen State Park and Buttermilk Falls Park. I find the motel online. Both my wife and I are very satisfied with the cleanness and room-air quality of Gorgeous View Motel. Mike, the person in charge, receives us in a very warm way, making us feel at home. The parking is so easy just a few steps from our room. I recommend the motel with no reservation. I wish Gorgeous View Motel always success.

The room was very clean. The bed was made before we got back to our room. The bathroom was clean. Be careful in the parking lot, you may roll into the lake. Basically, it’s all in the name!

Just a simple roadside motel. Right across the street from Seneca Lake, all of the rooms have a beautiful view. The name “gorgeous view motel” fits. The people that ran, the hotel were absolutely friendly and helpful, the room was simple, but clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a microwave, a fridge and a coffee pot, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

No pets. But we don't travel with pets. No smoking, but we don't smoke anyways. Wish they had a pool, but the view of the lake and all the fireworks was awesome! They even did fireworks in their own front! Easy to get in, out, and comfortable. 10/10!

Nice budget basic hotel 10 minutes from the State Park and downtown. Great views of the lake from every room. My only complaint was the lack of an ice machine.
