"We loved our stay at Casa Ku. The location and grounds—right on the beach—were fantastic. The staff was also fantastic, especially Giovanni at the front desk and Alberto, who was our waiter at Nido. The free breakfast was a big bonus! I highly recommend staying here."

This place is so unique and beautiful but there were also so many small annoyances. Our rating reflects the disparity between our expectations booking a boutique resort that touts offering a luxury experience (at a much higher than average price point for the area) and the actual experience we had.
Pros:
The grounds are beautiful and appear as shown in the photos. The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive. The theming of the resort is unique with elements including the rooms themselves...

Hotel was very nice and clean, well painted and great atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast is included and cooked in the cleanest kitchen I've seen in Mexico. Owner Yan was extremely helpful and interesting to talk to. He is helpful in explaining why things are the way they are in Merida and the Yucatan. The only thing that I didn't like was paying $35mex for a coffee before complimentary coffee started at 7:30am. One km from plaza grande is a little bit of a walk but the cabs are very cheap....

Staff were incredible. Everything from the check -in to the breakfast was fantastic. The value of this hotel is what got our attention, and the incredible service is what kept us going. I would strongly recommend this hotel based on the location, staff and condition of the hotel.

This was a four-night solo trip to Mérida, and I couldn't have been happier with my accommodation choice. A well-appointed room with a firm mattress, a great shower with a high showerhead, and a second door to the suite providing direct access to the rooftop deck with its pools for cooling down in the afternoon. It includes an in-room refrigerator and safe as well. The restaurant in the hotel was great for when I wanted to stay in for breakfast or dinner and they also have a few agave spirit...

Location was great, 3 blocks from Paseo Montejo and restaurants (especially Hennessy’s Irish Pub). The staff could not do enough to make our stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend and will stay there again.
