We wanted a quick getaway where we didn’t know anyone and where there was no sargassum. The beach is beautiful can walk for hours. We loved the location of the property. Beach was steps away. Restaurants and shops walking distance. The unit was clean and well appointed. Had a kettle, microwave, stove and a full size fridge which was a great place to keep your refreshments chilly! The check in was quick and easy. Liked having the key box outside so you could just lock up and walk away without having to haul around the house keys. The door needs a tune up, new handle and an adjustment to make it open and close a bit better. Really enjoyed our stay

Cigno Mejorada is a beautiful hotel located in a great location in Merida. Their restaurant is top notch, and there are many more great restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff here goes well above and beyond to make you feel very welcome. The rooms are very very nice. We loved the plunge pool on our patio. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful city.

Mero Mero hotel is the place to be if you go to El Cuyo! It’s beautifully designed, clean, close to the beach and has lots of eco friendly features. Laura is super friendly and the whole vibe is just the best! We enjoyed our stay there and we will surely be back!
