Prince George Wharf Tours and Activities

This resort was too big for my personal preference. I felt like I was in Las Vegas. The nice part, but still. For those who love options, it is probably great. EVERYTHING is very, very expensive. Not all things advertised as "included" were available. For instance, they would not allow us to rent paddleboards... not sure why. The staff only allowed a few kayaks at a time, so our group mostly opted not to wait. The "hammocks", which looked fun - also not available to us. The beach was pretty packed, cannot IMAGINE Spring Break or a busier time. The water is as beautiful as pictured & the staff was very friendly. The room(s) were nice, feel new, clean. Had to call for room service as they missed one of our rooms 2 days in a row - but may have been our fault for occupying the room at the wrong time? In general - too expensive to really enjoy things. There are more hidden fees than I expected. And as far as food goes, mostly ok. COSTA has delicious food, mediocre service. Huge, impressive resort, but I won't be back - just not my style.

We got delayed a day because of weather- called the hotel about 20 times, no answer. Call Riu customer service and they said they wouldn’t help with reservations to make sure it wouldn’t be cancelled (said call hotel). Showed up at hotel and the front desk’s first comment was well you didn’t let us know you were still coming- check in was an ordeal- hotel was ok, food ok, pool/view were great!
