"Clean hotel, short walk to Atlantis"
Caruso's restaurant was very good, had a delicious dinner on our last night, good lunch on our first day. Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast that was included every day was good, saved a lot of money as food at Atlantis is very expensive.

Orange Hill Beach Inn - Nassau Hotels
Rating: 3.0 Stars

Orange Hill Beach Inn

West Bay Street, Nassau - Map
"Not a typical Nassau "resort" hotel"
Orange Hill is an old, somewhat quirky, wooded property of rooms and cottages set on a hill overlooking the sea. It has a very friendly staff and a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. This hotel lacks all of the boring glitz, hustle, as well as some of the amenities, of the larger resort-style hotels in the center or Nassau or on Paradise Island -- no crowds, no casino, no cruise ships, no "all included" package tourists. Orange Hill could benefit from more attentive maintenance, both on the grounds and in the rooms, which is why I cannot give it all fives. (But I would give the hotel staff a "six", if there were such a rating.) However, for me, the very pleasant aspects of Orange Hill easily compensated for the many little flaws. Orange Hill is the first Nassau hotel that I have truly liked, rather than merely tolerated.

"Second time is just as good"
My wife and I have been there before... loved it. Returned and loved it again. Beautiful aquariums, fun water park, great beaches, marvelous food and super kind staff. Go in the off season in February... you practically have the place to yourself!

One&Only Ocean Club

Casino Drive, Paradise Island - Map
"Fabulous at the Ocean Club"
When you already love Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons, the Ocean Club take things a few notches higher. The Bahamas location is magnificent with a fabulous location on a pristine stretch of the Atlantic. The immaculately manicured estate is impressive and breathtaking. The famed DUNE restaurant is a delight, perched atop the Ocean. The staff made us feel special with lots of unique attention on my birthday. I returned to Toronto feeling a year younger rather than a year older!

Coco Plum Resorts Bahamas - Nassau Hotels
Rating: 2.0 Stars

Coco Plum Resorts Bahamas

West Bay Street, Cable Beach, Nassau - Map
"Typical Bahamian. "
The hotel is a $20 taxis ride from the airport along cable beach o wrong side of the road but for an overnight stay in transit it is ok. very primitive but the staff are warm and friendly and try to help with any request. Good Wifi. Dirt pool and nice outdoor restaurant. Promised breakfast not available and restaurant not sure it would be open in evening . However staff willing to warm up food brought in. Water and soda available from machine. Shower the typical tropical little pressure or hot water and the grouting is dark with mould but that is everywhere in islands in this price range.
