" Very nice small town hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Room was large and clean, well appointed. The attached restaurant is independently owned, so no buffet breakfast. However, it was open for all meals and the food was very good and priced right. "

"The Host was excellent, as were the accommodations ONCE INSIDE!! This is not a place for the elderly or handicapped. To enter the property, you have to walk over stones to reach two flights of outdoor wooden stairs. The Host did offer to move us to a ground-floor unit, but it was further away from the downtown area. "

"The home was spacious and clean but some areas looked a bit tired and poorly maintained. We didn't use the hot tub as the water looked dirty. The fan in the dining area came on by itself which had us wondering how safe the electrical was. The house is across the street from Lake Erie and not directly on it. The house is located in a area where there is no municipal water so water use is restricted to what the cistern can hold. If you don't mind an old cottage probably fixed up by a handyman with good intentions, this is the place for you. It's located in a beautiful area of the province!"

"My close friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. There were enough beds for our group and the facilities ensured we enjoyed home comforts while also living up to promises of quiet and solitude in nature. We had long chats by the fire by night and hiked in the surrounding Backus conservation area by day. We will definitely be back in the future! "
