« Appreciated being able to check in early. Room was very plain but adequate. Only complaint was on Expedia it said a Queen bed but the bed in the room we had was definitely smaller than a Queen (Double?). Hotel said that was an "Expedia" issue. »

« Location!! This is the only place within Point Reyes NS where you can spend the night unless you have a tent. It's perfect for what it is. The Lodge is more hostel than hotel, and is a cluster of buildings with different levels of accommodation. Everything is perfectly comfortable, including the beds. They provide sheets, blankets (actually a warm comforter), towels, bath mat, face cloth, hand/shower soap, and a fully-stocked kitchen, including things like cooking oil, some spices, salt and...

« I’ve been staying with Marconi through past years. Unfortunately, every time it’s getting worse. They don’t clean rooms properly, no soundproofing have been installed. Walls are paper thin. You hear your neighbors simply talking. The fire pit area is cute but very very loud. If you plan to go to bed before 11PM - forget about it. Volleyball and basketball “courts” are not courts at all. One is a sand patch, the other one is a not maintained spot with a worn out hoop. The café is good....

« The good: This hotel is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable and, the first night, very quiet. The tiny town is charming, an architectural throwback. Nice bakery across the street. The not so good: The hotel has no staff on site - literally never saw an employee. Since I had no cell phone service in the entire area and the hotel has no landline phones accessible by guests, the only way to communicate was via internet. So, when internet service went completely out...
