It was a comfortable room with view of the hills and a stream. It was very clean and quiet. Room had 2 space heaters which we had to use as it was very cool in the room. Could have used a thicker comforter (bedding) but we still enjoyed the location and amenities. No elevator, only stairs but you could choose a ground floor room if needed. That said, we enjoyed the room and thoughtful amenities. Location is very handy for Point Reyes and all the outdoor stuff in the area. Our only major issue was checking in. The staff member at the front desk told us he was on his break and that we could come back in 20 minutes. At that time, he could help us. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Most memorable were Melanie who checked us in and Kyle who took care of us most of the time. We were there for our parents' 50th anniversary and were just blown away by Kyle's warm hospitality, and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Of course the stream-side property itself was unbelievably charming with beautiful, well-maintained grounds, and our 2-level room just had so much character.
