My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a full week at this beautiful Inn. Our hosts, Kathleen and Chuck (as well as the rest of the staff) went the extra mile to make sure we had the perfect getaway! The freshly made breakfasts every morning were excellent (they served mostly local products), the location was perfect and the grounds were beautiful (loved all the flowers). The rooms were also recently renovated :) if you're searching for a couple's retreat in Cape Cod, look no further!

My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to head to Cape Cod. With so many options of where to stay we began to read reviews and settled on the Inn on the Sound. I cannot be happier. The facilities were great, the room spacious and tastefully decorated and the food (breakfast) was outstanding. The reviews are true, this is a great place to stay. We based ourselves here as we explored the Cape. It’s a 10 minute walk to the port where you catch the ferries to Nantucket and the Vineyard. Main st Hyannis is the next street over. You really can’t beat the location. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was good and there was always plenty. There were chairs to bring to the beach, bath towels in the room for each person. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, AC working very well, nice clean bathroom. The included breakfast had mutliple choices and all very tasty.

The front desk, cleaning and breakfast staff were all exceptionally kind, polite and efficient. We loved the Hotel and the vibe. The breakfast was delish & presented lovely, and the coffee was so good!! We have 2 comments : 1)the hide a bed mattress was horrible, thin with no support. Our son slept on top of the couch instead because it was at least firm 2) the cigarette butts littered all over the front entrance and the front flower bed made this property look like a cheap place.
