"It was ok. Our first stay last year was much better. This time there were a lot more people staying and it was loud everywhere. Not to mention that our last night there was a family arguing and yelling so loud around 2:00 am in the morning. I brought it up to the front desk during our check out. I know it was not their fault, but people don’t think about others. Ridiculous.
Maybe it was just those days that we were there, but it was loud everywhere. Keep that in mind. There were also not a lot...
"The Hyatt Panama City was an excellent getaway. The staff and facility was excellent. The convenient location to stores, parking, restaurants and the beach. The only downside was no microwave in the rooms and the ice machine didn't work. Buying ice every day was no fum."
"Overall great stay. They were extremely helpful when we needed anything. Everyone was super helpful and kind. The hotel room was really nice. Only critique I have is the amenities, some of the outdoor activities could be more updated. There are pools it would be vool to have one for adults with alcohol served at poolside. Anyway, great stay! Thank you, Osprey!! "
"We loved this hotel! Perfect beach access and the pool and hot tub was very nice. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options(waffle bar, hotel sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, oatmeal etc. they had a bar too. Perfect hotel! Wish we didn’t have to leave "

"All in all, great place to stay. I would recommend spending the extra few bucks to stay in an ocean view room, as the other building across the street seems to get a bit less attention. We were assigned a room in the building on the north side of Front Beach Road, no beach/ocean view, but we were ok with walking across the street to get to the beach. The room was fine, clean and adequate to our needs. We unpacked and went to explore. When we returned to the room, some ants had appeared in a couple of spots in the room, which is understandable as we are staying at the beach there are bound to be bugs out there, but we wanted to bring it to the attention of the hotel. We informed Jimmy, the front desk agent working at the time, and he went above and beyond when he moved us immediately to an ocean view room and had other staff members, Marvin and Paul, help us gather our things and move them across the street. Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful, we were blown away by the service! The property is a bit older, but well maintained. It’s very close to shopping and restaurants, as well as Pier Park which is only about a mile away with tons of shopping and restaurants. I would absolutely stay at the Palmetto again, and recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!"
