Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center
10/10 Excellent
"We were very happy with our stay at the Residence Inn. Our check in was easy, the staff were exceptional, very accommodating and helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. The Champion's Restaurant was very nice, very pleasant staff, upbeat and friendly. Food was good, just wish the Happy Hour menu changed daily. My only disappointment is that the pool was not heated, and it was pretty cold. Other than that, we loved the location, walking distance to Congress Street bridge to see the Bats each night, awesome. "
"Everything was awesome except for the noisy AC unit which ran almost continuously to keep the room comfortable. The bathroom was spectacular and private even with both of us in the room together. Housekeeping services and amenities like the bar, coffee shop and valet were all lovely. The atmosphere was also rather upscale which I thoroughly enjoyed. The view of downtown from my room was just ok, but I wasn't there to enjoy the view! "
