"Historic and breathtaking views"
We were celebrating my Moms 74th Birthday. The hotel sent complimentary chocolate strawberries. The pictures and stories in the halls are so interesting. The views are beautiful!! The hotel was clean and the accommodations were very nice. We loved the hiking trails!

"Amazing resort"
I went with a girlfriend of mine and we had such an amazing time! The best bit about the place was the staff - so incredibly friendly and helpful. The spa was incredible with one of the best massages I've ever received and the pool was gorgeous. Our room was slightly "tired" and could have benefited from an update but as you are never in your room (there is so much to do onsite), this wasn't a problem! The prickly pear challenge and the giant swing were incredible - terrifying, but fun and what a feeling of accomplishment once you've completed them!! The food was incredible too - and what a view from the sitting area in front of the restaurant. I would definitely return!!

"Nice hotel away from downtown"
We were there for a wedding so chose the Omni due to location. We were very pleasantly surprised. Great hotel, bar in lobby and able to access the wedding venue in timely fashion.

"Nice hotel with great amenities."
The kids loved the water slide and water volleyball! The girls had to check on Boots, the hotels mascot, each day. We enjoyed the free activities such as morning bike rides, art night, movie night, Pokemon Social, Smores by the river, etc. The optional activities that you pay for would have been great but the weather cancelled the zip-line and horseback riding on us 3 days in a row. NOT FUN! The kids were very disappointed (I was too, I have never rode a horse). Definitely interested in returning in the future.

Overall a nice older hotel in downtown Austin. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed. They appeared to be a bit understaffed as it seemed to be towards the end of the day that our room was cleaned. But it was cleaned - so that's a good thing. Upstairs bar - nice but again a bit understaffed when they were busy. We would consider staying here again - nice location

"Good Downtown Location"
Well located hotel in downtown Austin within walking distance to restaurants, 6th St and Convention Center. Heavy traffic congestion in the area, so walking is the better option. Hotel is well appointed with a nice Pool and spa. Hotel restaurant has a limited menu, high prices and slow service. Hotel staff was responsive to requests. Staff was not available to provide copies of your bill at your room the day we checked out, so guests were required to stand in a checkout line and it's a busy hotel. I requested an email copy of my bill, but never received it.

"Great location, with excellent service "
Great location with excellent service through and through. The staff at this hotel are excellent- everyone does their best to accommodate and help guests meet their needs. The hotel is well kept- clean, modern and well appointed. Rooms are spacious. The pool area is a lot of fun and it's great that the hotel does such a nice job of ensuring that hotel guests get preference. The only cons in my mind are: 1) weak water pressure in the shower and 2) the doors don't have a mechanism to allow them to close slowly, meaning that while you are in your room, you are constantly being startled by slamming doors from the hallway.
