We were in town for a quick weekend to catch a couple Giants games and chose to stay at LUMA due to its very close proximity to Oracle Park.
Proximity to the ball park cannot be beat however know that traffic gets VERY busy in the area up to a couple hours before game time. We were often heading back to the hotel before game time so we got caught in traffic AND paid surge prices.
Hotel was super clean and comfortable, pleasant staff, everything you’d expect when paying these prices. Really...

Loved the hotel itself and how accessible different areas of the city are. We were forewarned about the noise as it is a busy part of downtown. I think it is unavoidable wherever you go but we felt a bit unsafe at night.

It was a great 7 day stay in SF at Castle Inn. The workers at the Office and the housekeepers were top notch. The added bonus of having free parking on a daily basis made my stay much more enjoyable. Lastly, the area seemed very safe compared to the downtown core of SF and had great restaurants and bars and cafes to choose from on Polk.
