"Clean, well-kept modern rooms. Excellent breakfast including numerous choices of hot and cold food, cereals and fruit. Really liked late afternoon service of soup (chili con carne in this instance), which was unexpected bonus! Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Acadia National Park. Reasonably priced, compared to stays in Bar Harbor. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful location and great adjoining restaurant. Front desk staff always friendly and helpful. This is a great place for local walks and for touring the island and the park. Being able to chill out on the balcony with a lovely harbor view was very pleasant."

"We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. It was the deluxe room but still felt it was much more than expected. Nice and spacious and the view was incredible. We enjoyed having a balcony to enjoy the views and have a cocktail on as the evening was winding down. The property itself was very clean, staff was great, and the contintenal breakfast was nice to grab n go as we needed to head out. There were lots of people sitting on the porch enjoying the morning views while having coffee and a little breakfast. Very enjoyable stay!"

"Harbourside Inn was such a quaint and charming stay, tucked away in the quiet town of Northeast Harbor. It’s about a 20-minute drive from the livelier Bar Harbor, which ended up being the best of both worlds for us. The shops and restaurants nearby do close fairly early, but Bar Harbor is just a short drive away whenever you want a little more action. We loved the slower pace here, especially being able to walk into town for coffee in the mornings. It felt peaceful, cozy, and quintessentially Maine—the perfect home base for our time on Mount Desert Island."
