North Coast Vacation Packages

We reserved a room with two queen beds, but upon arrival we were told only a king bed was available due to “availability.” Although we were promised the correct room the next day, we checked in Wednesday and weren’t moved until Sunday despite calling and following up daily. When we finally got the new room, it wasn’t ready. There were no pillowcases or towels. Thankfully, the staff member who helped us move brought towels from our old room. It still took nearly 24 hours to get pillowcases, and only because someone in our group stopped a staff member in the hallway. Customer service was the biggest disappointment. Calls to the front desk never resulted in help, and staff often seemed confused or uninterested. We were a group of 13 women, and several rooms had issues, including an occupied room being assigned to a guest, room leaks, and a leaking bathroom faucet in our room. The food was good for the most part, and we enjoyed many of the amenities. However, the lack of communication and follow-through overshadowed the positives. As a Jamaican, I know the hospitality my country is known for, and sadly this experience did not reflect that. I wish I was able to choose 0 star, this was by far the worst resort that I have booked from Expedia. Let alone, it took 4 hours to even obtain a room when check in is scheduled for 3pm. Then when we arrived to the room, dirty linens, damaged furniture & rude customer service. The room was eventually replaced after another 2-3 hours. It’s was sad enough that as a guest kindness & patience got me nowhere. I stood at the counter for an HOUR before I was even acknowledged. Guest services, I really don’t even know why they were there… complete inconsiderate & non-compassionate about all of the inconveniences their guests endure as a whole. You can easily tell that this resort is understaffed & their employees are overwhelmed. Refused numerous times to provided management’s email/ contact info. I can count on one hand, about how many employees actually attempted to make my stay worth while. Many of the restaurants were not opened as scheduled & the food was not that pleasant. I love Jamaica but I definitely will not be returning to this resort.

All staff were professional, courteous and friendly. They all went out of their way to grant your requests. The ambience is very nice. The electrical outlets on the patio didn't always work. Had to be creative in getting plugs to stay in. They also need to upgrade from 110v to 220v. Just kidding, but they should have something for travelers from Europe. Internet service was pretty good. Everyone in my group were pleased and would return. The tour setup for us by the manager was fun!!!! Good people, fantastic accommodations. Recommended...
