« Unfortunately, our recent stay was not the experience my husband and I had hoped for. We were quite disappointed with several aspects of our stay and would like to share our concerns. Upon entering our room, there was a strong, musty odor, which made it seem as though the carpets were in need of cleaning. « This is a must see for yourself!! The owners have thought of every detail from the over the top welcome amenities to extras like offering beach chairs and towels to go explore the local beach! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! She even prepared a to go breakfast when she found out we had to leave out early one morning! We enjoyed home grown fruits and veggies from her garden daily! If you want to step back in time, but still have the comforts of modern day you have to got to visit this place!...

« We are experienced travelers so expect certain information and common amenities at check-in or in the room. The following were NOT provided and/or were issues for us ... 1. Guest's WIFI Password was not provided at Reception or on a card in the room. 2. Two remotes were required to operate the TV with no instructions for how to use them. 3. « Absolutely beautiful house. Minor issue upon check in, the wrong entry code was given prompting us to reach out to guests services. Once the host was contacted, check in was simple. Other issues included the linen in two of the bedrooms were not changed from previous guests. Master bedroom and children’s bunk beds had previously used sheets on the beds. « The apartment was roomy. Plenty of room for our pups and our twin granddaughters when we babysat them. The property outside does not appear to being cared for. The apartment is over the garage of a house. And, as said in a previous review, the bed is not a queen...it is definitely just a full. The location itself is quiet and easy to walk around just a few houses down from the ocean. »
