"Good walking location at about 6-8 blocks to downtown Salem. Be aware that it’s 13 stairs from the front of the building to the duplex front door, then another 13 stairs to the second floor area with the only couch to watch TV. You’ll need two codes: one for the building and another for the apartment. We were unfortunately left waiting in the rain for about 20 min waiting for the building code. A great hotel in Cambridge with super convenient access to the T and a short walk to Harvard Square.
The only downside was not having a small fridge in the room. But it wouldn’t deter me from staying at this hotel again.

Very spacious and clean suite; and the maids were lovely. Pool was a little cool for my taste and the hot tub was a bit low on water so the jets sprayed water everywhere. Great view and great location, front desk staff could be a little friendlier; but overall, excellent place to stay.

This was our first time in Boston. The hotel was absolutely perfect. It is worth paying for a hotel right downtown. The location of the Harborside Inn was the best! We stayed 3 nights. We walked everywhere. There was no need for other transportation. Sightseeing, dining, shopping all within walking distance. Can't wait to go back!
