"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our special wedding anniversary. We wanted somewhere with character and of a high standard that also had a good restaurant offering. We were not disappointed. We stayed in a superior double room had a lovely view of the hillside. We were impressed by the standard of the room and enjoyed the little extras such as handmade biscuits in a cookie jar and quality shower products etc.The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The restaurant serves a set menu with 3 or 4 choices which changes each night, and all the dishes are prepared freshly from local produce. We hope to return one day."

"The Innkeepers at Cridford are so thoughtful and helpful! We had a problem with our rental car and they were able to quickly help us find a local company to handle the issue. But the historic property itself is also a gem! It's a picture-perfect, charming inn. We stayed in the family room which was very spacious for a couple and child. Dinner at the pub downstairs was delicious and then just a few steps to the room."

"The establishment is very well run by a team of friendly, kind, helpful and caring staff. The spa is a place you can easily spend a couple of hours relaxing and using the first class facilities. We had a pre-dinner drink in the lounge mulling over the menu before being shown into the dining room for a very lovely meal. We would certainly recommend it and hope to return in the future."
