This hotel is very vonvif you want to be near Manhattan and in walking distance with nice restaurant and convenient stores. It's less than 10 mins walk from Madison park and less than 30 mins walk from Strand bookstore. The room and bathroom are decent. I loved my stay but I wish there was a mini fridge or coffee machine in the room. The free breakfast is fine if you're only looking for coffee and pastry nothing fancy.

The location of this hotel could not be better. Being there alone, the size of the room was not a problem, but realize that although very clean they are indeed pretty small. The breakfast in the morning is convenient, but the croisssants were definitively not freshly baked and the apples and clementines were old. Some yogurts would have been welcome.. The staff is very friendly and there is a convenient store a block away which is very helpful too.

Breakfast was minimal and served for only two hours. But everything was great. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was on the first floor, but adjacent to a wall that offered privacy. There’s a 24-hr deli next door that sells a variety of foods and beers but at a steep markup. I definitely plan to stay at Lex again.

Strange spot - did not have the feel of a 'real hotel, small place-holder Lobby, amenity charge way too much for what was offered - had to ask for everything -WiFi password, drinking glasses, instructions for TV, ice - all those things theoretically included in amenities. Bed pillows were tiny & virtually empty of stuffing. On a positive note - room was clean, bed comfortable & daily service was offered on request. Definitely not a *** priority as advertised on Expedia. Thank you, C Mills

We stayed in a two-queen-bed room and it was very large, especially for NYC. Nice location; lots of mini marts and coffee shops nearby. No fridge; breakfast was not extensive but still plenty of options. AC worked great and was refreshing to get out of the summer heat. Rooftop was lovely with lots of seating and nice views. Staff was just super. Friendly, helpful.
