One thing worth mentioning is that the last mile of road in is a single lane, gravel road, that not only crosses through what appears to be a creek but is also quite steep and rocky. It was perfect! This is an amazing relaxing location, surrounded by nature. It was clean and comfortable. Lots of road to walk dogs, that was hardly traveled.There was an error with the code given to get in, but the owner was very quick to unlock the door virtually for me when we arrived. My only suggestion is to watch littles around the wooden kitchen counter. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !).
