"This bank converted to hotel is an amazing venue! The room was state of the art, the bathroom exquisite and a sound machine lulled me to sleep. The room door is the original and I believe was copper. I dined in their restaurant in the actual vault which had seating. My appetizers, blue crab dip and dumplings, were phenomenal. I checked in at 1:30 p.m., and did some sidewalk shopping within walking distance of the hotel (2-4 blocks). There are also a variety of restaurants but I made the best choice dining in the hotel. The Liberty Trust will become an annual retreat for me! AF"

"Love the peacefulness of the setting, can't be beat. The wait staff at the Lodge restaurant and cafe were great. Hubby is a wheelchair user. Please, stop standing there waiting for us as we a struggling to open, hold the door open and get through the door. Helping another customer, I have no problem with you not offering an extra hand. Just standing there waiting for us to get to the desk to check in or go anywhere in the building, walk over and help. Seating in the restaurant. If the table closet to the hostess stand is available, please remove a chair and put us there. That table had 6-8 feet of open space behind it. We were left at a table with chairs backing to other chairs because it was that servers turn to have a customer. You do that and I will always drag the chair from my table to the middle aisle as, well as the one at the table behind the wheelchair space."

"The location is wonderful, just steps away from the Black Friar's Theater, Mary Baldwin University, and several good restaurants and shops. Just as wonderful is the staff - everyone was welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel's Magnolia South Restaurant. Service couldn't have been better. The hotel has been located in the heart of Staunton for decades. At the same time we felt enchanted by the architecure, we also noticed that the hotel needs some updates and TLC. However, we would be glad to visit again!"

Hyatt Studios Harrisonburg

"I had a pleasant two-night stay at Hyatt Studios Harrisonburg. Since the hotel is newly built, everything feels modern, and the room was very clean. I also liked having a kitchenette, which is convenient for longer stays. The location is another plus. There are several grocery stores and restaurants nearby, and it’s only about a 10-minute drive to downtown Harrisonburg, making it a great base for exploring the area or visiting Shenandoah National Park. There are a few areas that could be improved. The complimentary breakfast is quite limited at the moment, with only oranges, bananas, muffins, Nutri-Grain bars, tea, and coffee. It would be nice to see more substantial options in the future. Since the hotel is newly constructed, there was also a noticeable “new building” smell in the room. In addition, I found the air conditioner a bit difficult to adjust, making it challenging to maintain a comfortable temperature. Overall, I had a good experience and would stay here again. As the hotel continues to settle in and expands its amenities, I think it has the potential to be an excellent place to stay."
