Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were hoping for. The atmosphere was peaceful, and it made the perfect getaway for the two of us. The only small issue we had was with the lantern provided it seemed to be low on charge or not working properly. But honestly, that didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Other reviews stated that communication is poor, but that was NOT the case for us. My first email contact was answered in less than an hour and all text messages were answered within minutes! The queen size bed was very comfortable (we did not have the loft bed). The reason I did not give 5 stars was because we thought all of the amenities were included in the price for our stay. They are not, so we will be charged for the wood/fire starters, puppy poop bags, their gourmet dog treats, 2 bottles of water, coffee packets, & oatmeal. In addition, there was no microwave, no coffee pot/Keurig, nor a freezer part in the mini-fridge. No mirrors either. We bought ice for the cooler as an alternative to no freezer. The solution for coffee was tea-like packets that you boiled water for. There’s a Community Store with gas, right before the turn-off to the cabin site, but items are more pricey than what we normally pay. Lastly, the cabins are rather close together (about 50 ft apart) so while you are way out in the country, it is not as private as we thought it would be. We also expected what was depicted in the online pictures. There was no awning with lights, nor was there a hammock as depicted.The table inside does not fold down to give you more room. Staff were attentive and were seen cleaning/maintaining other cabins regularly.
