« Came for a red rocks concert. Great place to stay. The pictures are accurate. Older but clean and comfortable. We had fun reminiscing about some of the old appliances and dishes from our grandma’s house growing up. Highlight was the blue heron rookery across the way. Loved watching the birds from the dining room. Binoculars included! Close to Denver but feels secluded and off the beaten path. »

« We stayed at Perched in the Trees to celebrate our anniversary. It was perfect! Such a lovely retreat that feels so far away and secluded, but is close to great food and attractions. We were especially impressed with our takeout dinner (the crab cakes were delicious!) from Jimmy Joy’s, which we enjoyed eating on the screened porch. « The chalet was very clean and everything was easy to use because of the excellent directions given by the owner. Our accommodations were perfect for the 5 of us, with plenty of room for all. We used the North Club pool one day as and had a great time. The highlight was seeing bears each day! The view was superb! We hope to be back sooner rather than later! »

« The house is comfortable, the kitchen well organized, it was perfect for our family of 6, under the shade of trees. We appreciated the walking distance to the small beach to relax after a morning hike. Instructions for check-in and to keep the house safe vs bears were helpful! »

Collectively between all of us we seen bears almost everyday, one was even walking on our deck. I would definitely stay here again.
