"We absolutely adored the Rancho Contento. The kitchen was well stocked with some amazing touches like fresh eggs from the onsite chicken coop. Dori was nice enough to give us a tour of the coop, which I highly recommend if she's available. Our only regret during the trip was not getting to spend more time at the ranch. My family loved it. "Loved staying here! Vanessa and her partner have created a magical place to rest, center, and breathe. All of the animals on the property -- and there are plenty -- are well taken care of and incredibly friendly. I had emus, dogs, guinea hens, ponies and more coming up to me to give and get some loves. This all just enhanced the experience! Great location right between JT and Palm Springs too. Totally would recommend!"

"My girlfriend and I loved staying here. The rooms flow together nicely, and every window has an unbelievable view of different mountains. It almost doesn’t feel real. We took full advantage of the grounds and learned we are, in fact, hammock people. We highly recommend enjoying the sunset via hammock. The hot tub is clean, and the views from it are gorgeous.
