The breakfast was good, plenty of food, however, the potato wedges were a bit overcooked. The service was excellent and the servers were very polite. The parking is spacious, but we couldn’t find the charger for our EV, good that the supercharge is 12 mins away only. The room was spacious and the view was super, facing the pond and the golf course and the air conditioning was quiet and not too loud for me.

Perfect for family celebration. Tons of activities. Great outdoor site. Nice golf course. Cabin resto had great food. Our waitress, Catalina was very professional and helpful. Attention to details could be improved. As a suggestion, when someone mentioned it is their birthday, it would be a nice touch to write Happy Birthday, on their dessert plate (no candle needed) or have a note in their bedroom. Except for those suggestions, it was a good experience.

Room was clean and bathroom updated. But other areas of the room and facilities are very tired and run down. The breakfast buffet (that we didn't initially realize was included) was excellent and we were able to eat outside on the deck. Unfortunately we couldn't find a table or chair that didn't wobble. Overall stay was okay but not worth the money.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hockley Valley Resort. We enjoyed a spacious two level room with two bathrooms. Our view was to the entrance which was not ideal but fine. The highlights for us would be the indoor and outdoor pools. The food at both Bobbo and The Cabin were great! The fine dining at The Cabin was particularly excellent! The servers Michael and Danielle were really nice. Michael was very entertaining and witty especially with the cocktail prep lesson! Sheryl was very hospital and helpful at the breakfast buffet which provided many choices for breakfast. Marley was fun with the pool side bingo and trivia contests too. We had a great couple’s massage also. Donna is a reflexologist who without knowing, found all of my “hotspots” and was very helpful. Overall it was great! A few suggestions for improvements…the grounds were lovely but not really kept up. Around the pool the growth was blocking most of the sun. The gardens were looking a bit tired and needed attention. The gardener may need more assistance for such a large property! We went by the grape vineyards to discover they were infested with Japanese Beetles. Not a health risk but unfortunate. We would certainly recommend Hockley Valley Resort to our friends and we will likely return for another visit.

The staff were always friendly no matter where you wondered. The lobby was full of light with opportunity to sit and watch TV. The breakfasts were full of variety on the buffet and à la carte the eggs Benedict was delicious. The pool area overlooked the golf course and felt tropical. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the golf course and ponds and the trees which spread from left to right. Even on a rainy day it was nature at its best. Early check in with bottle of wine for my Birthday
