« Super convenient location close to Minden and on the river. We needed somewhere convenient to stay for a hockey tournament and this fit the bill. Communication with the owner was great and he was very accommodating. »

« We stayed for a week and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nice to have a restaurant in the Hotel. In the kitchenette we were hoping to be able to use a stove top to make simple meals during the week but we only had a microwave which did not make they possible. Also one of the beds was very soft. Other than that I would recommend it. »

« The view was great. Staff were Okey, but unfortunately, there was a lot of small insects inside the cabin. Once we checked in, we tried to turn on all the appliances and the AC was not working. Called the number on the book and was referred to the staff at the site and Informed us that it is not working and could not tell us when it is going to get fixed. So we have to open all the windows. I e-mailed the office asking maybe to give us a discount on our stay but, sad to say we've checked out...

« I have no issue with hotel rooms with run down, tacky furniture - especially when the price is right - but there is no excuse for the room being dirty. Although the hosts were friendly, they need to change how they clean. And if they can’t get the gross dirt off the cabinets and furniture - replace it! If we weren’t just using the room to sleep, I would have left and found a way to seek my money back from Expedia. At least sheets were fresh and soft. I just didn’t enjoy the feeling that I needed...
