"Stephanie and Dave are wonderrful hosts who should be commended for turning a heritage inn into a truly magnificent B and B. Their attention to detail from their choice of antiques to their mouth watering freshly made scones for breakfast made our stay a special treat! We plan to return and recommend the Saucy Inn to our friends."

"Such a beautiful cottage nestled on an open waterfront property. Very quiet area gave a sense of peace and tranquility while appreciating nature. The large ceiling to floor windows overlooked the view of the lake and property. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was large and clean. The weather was seasonably cold however we stayed toasty warm in the evenings with the large firepit area with plenty of seating. The host was wonderful and very easy to communicate with. Looking forward to coming again!"

"Lakeview Motel met all my expectations. It was very clean and I am a bit of a clean freak, beds were comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The lady who checked us was very nice and gave us all sorts of information. Being able to park out front of our room was very convenient and the little balcony was great for hunny to pop out for a smoke. Close to restaurants and Tim Hortons is just a hop skip and jump down the road. If needed you can buy beer and wine from the office. The only thing I would take stars off for, was it an option, would be the price. Although Lakeview Motel is excellent the only problem was I thought it was a little pricey. Maybe that’s just me, but if I hadn’t wanted to be right around the corner from what we came up to do, I could have stayed in a beautiful B&B in Minden for less and had a breakfast included in the price. But Lakeview Motel is a good, clean and comfortable place to stay and if I had to stay in Haliburton again I would definitely stay there. "

"We stayed at the cottage over Easter wknd and had an absolutely lovely time. It was chilly outside but so cozy and warm indoors. We got out for a few hikes and played along the river's edge, had a few campfires and enjoyed the supply of boardgames and dvds. We hope to come back again soon. Maybe next time in warmer weather so we can play in the river!"

"Our scout group stayed at this property for a Haliburton event weekend. We had a fabulous time. Curtis is very responsive, and accomodated our extra guests. We will certainly consider renting again in the future!"
