This unique space offers a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. Inside you'll find 2 bedrooms (Bedroom 1 has 1 queen bed; Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with double bed on bottom and single bed on top), a recently renovated bathroom, eat-in kitchen and family room with futon. We also have a bunkie (June 2021) with bunk beds and a futon. \*\*Please note - the bunkie is unavailable during the winter months as it is not heated\*\* Enjoy the sounds of nature on the large deck or sit around the camp fire. The location was great — nice and secluded but still close to town. The cottage itself had everything we needed. We did a lot of barbecuing, and the bunkee was a big bonus. We had a visitor with a baby, and the way the bunkee and cottage were set up meant we didn’t disturb each other so it’s great for families! There’s a small play area out front with a swing both babies loved! We brought our cat and she was very comfortable too. The water was very low in the river so swimming wasn’t great, but that’s not their fault - there were beaches close by that they recommended. No air conditioning (pretty standard for a cottage), but fans in each room which saved us during the heatwave. We loved sitting on the deck and listening to the running river. It was very quiet and the place is very secluded so there is a complete privacy. We really liked that there were several places outside where we could sit and relax. In this way, each couple had their own space to sit and enjoy the view. We fished from the dock. The most successful fishing is in the evening, after 5 pm.
