Creekside Cottage

Unique opportunity to experience the "Down East" way of life. Located approximately 15 minutes from Beaufort and 20 minutes from Morehead City. 10-minute boat ride over to the Cape Lookout lighthouse where you can climb the lighthouse, walk our gorgeous pristine beaches or check out the ponies on Shackleford banks. Bring your boat, park the boat and trailer in front of the house and launch at the boat ramp located less than 1 mile from the house. Only 10-15 minutes from some of the best local restaurants serving fresh seafood year-round. We offer a comfortable place to stay at a reasonable price so you can enjoy all the Crystal Coast has to offer.

At "The Net House" you will have access to the entire cabin. This includes 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, common living space, small dining area, and kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with a coffee maker (Keurig and standard), pots, pans, plates, silverware, full size stove, and refrigerator. There is also a full-size charcoal grill available for use. 2 bedrooms have full beds, the 3rd bedroom has a set of bunk beds. The living room has 1 full size couch, 1 love seat and 2 recliners. Bathroom is newly renovated including a full-size bathtub / shower combo, sink, and toilet. New flooring installed in the kitchen and 2nd bedroom in 2020. "The Net House" was built in 1875 and therefore does not have central heating and air. There is a window unit in 2 of the bedrooms and a larger unit in the common area. This is sufficient to cool the space. During the winter months there are small electric heaters in each of the bedrooms with a larger unit in the common area.

Spring Break
My company moved me from Down East to Atlanta last year and this was a great spot for our Spring Break trip back to the coast. There was plenty of space for all of us (I have 2 20-something and 1 high school age sons). The location was great, and the host was fantastic. We will be booking this place again on our next visit, hopefully soon!

Clean and cozy with plenty of room and a nice yard. I will at admit that it was cold in the house but we were warned ahead of time so we brought an electric blanket. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We will return.

Net House
Cute, cozy cabin in a quaint fishining town that is an easy short druve to Harkers Island, Beaufort and Morehead City. We visted friends there and went to the Coe Sound Decoy Festival. My little loved looking at all of the Christmas lights as we road around. Beautiful place.

Perfect for us
Just as pictured and very clean. Loved the nice and quiet place for me and my daughter to go after long days out. If you're looking for somewhere that you'll feel good about your kids sleeping at night, it's perfect. Out of the way, a short drive from everything we needed. Away from the tourist traffic. Loved it! Comfortable and nice. Would definitely go back!
