"The Drury is the only place I stay when I travel to San Antonio, at least 4 times a year. The staff is wonderful, kind, compassionate, and caring. If you need anything they are ready and willing to accommodate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the beds and pillows are comfortable as well. The Kick Back & Relax is a nice touch, and you can't go wrong with the breakfast! I would recommend the Drury to anyone and everyone."

"Here’s a polished review you could post for Crockett Hotel: Stayed at the Crockett Hotel in San Antonio and absolutely loved the experience. The location is unbeatable — right next to the Alamo and within walking distance of the River Walk, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel has so much Texas history and character while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. The staff was friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out, and the atmosphere made the stay feel unique compared to a standard hotel chain. The courtyard area was relaxing, the rooms were clean, and the overall vibe fit perfectly with a weekend exploring downtown San Antonio. If you want a hotel with charm, history, and an incredible location, I highly recommend the Crockett Hotel. We’ll definitely be back!"

"The River View was excellent and we enjoyed the balcony. We were not told that we shared a balcony with 3 other rooms though. The bed was rather lunpy and hard. I told the front desk at checkout and she didn’t respond. We will be back if we are in San Antonio"

"Breakfast was good although repetitive and fairly limited. For example, same thing every day. Sausage was tasty but never had bacon. I never found fruit. We did not use the pool. The employees were excellent and extremely helpful. Parking is a little pricey and the valet parking was slow at times. The hotel offers free drinks and a buffet every night which is highly unusual. We found the free drinks not to our liking, but the food was different each night and really only one item with salad greens and some kind of roll. The food was tasty. We ate there only two nights but all the mornings (4). Great location. You can walk almost everywhere. We walked to the historic Market Square, the Alamo, the Riverwalk, the Governor's House, San Fernando Cathedral, the Magic Saloon (lots of fun, highly recommend), and the Western Art Museum (also recommended) We drove to the UNESCO Historic Mission National Park, the San Pedro Creek Culture Park which you could walk, and the Pearl Brewery District. The first night we were there the San Antonio Spurs won their play off game and the streets were raucous with noise, Horns blaring, tires revving until 1 or 2 am. The hotel was not insulated for that type of noise!"

"There was no breakfast available at 4am, when I left not even coffee. I reserved the complimentary airport shuttle for 4am, it was late and caused my travel plans to suffer from it. The hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. Not the best bed or pillows and the shower is made for little people. "
