"Host communication was horrible, He would not send me any check in instructions, I had to call vrbo, i got his phone number, and he still would not send me check in instructions, I had to call vrbo again and they sent them to me.(felt very unwanted right off the bat.) The place was not clean, there were hairs in the shower, the place had a bed with a fitted sheet on it, the flat sheet was crammed in a corner in the bathroom, the comforter was a cheap wal mart throw blanket that had crust on it,...

"My husband and I have stayed many weekends in NYC and this is now my favorite hotel in Manhattan. It’s older but well-maintained with a very classic vibe, and the location is perfect – our 38th floor room had a stunning view including numerous landmarks."

"This was our second stay at Hotel Edison. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean and they quickly brought items to our room when requested. There are two restaurants connected to the hotel which we enjoyed greatly, especially for breakfast. Location of this hotel can’t be beat—next to Times Square, close to numerous subway lines, and walking distance to Hell’s Kitchen with its great restaurants. Our room was a bit small and the water pressure in the shower a bit low but other than that we found this to be an excellent stay."

"Rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. When conidering this hotel, know that there is a $50 per day resort fee applied. It is an outdoor pool, we were there when it was rainy and cold, really only 1 day we could use the pool. So it was $200 for about an hour in the pool. We tried to use both the rooftop bar and lobby bar multiple times, they were always closed(or no bartender or server around), even on a weekend. Frustrating it didn't really have a resort feel, when you have to pay the fee."

"Location, decor, lobby, rooftop, soundproofing, staff help - all were excellent. Hot water takes along time but just be patient. Limited counter space in bathroom. I stayed in a superior King room which had ample space for two people and luggage. No coffeemaker in room or complimentary coffee in lobby but two coffee shops right next to entrance. Hotel does have an electric hot water maker if you ask. Overall an excellent place to stay for feeling safe ( Staff were very attentive and helpful) in the Central Park/ Lincoln Center area. Discounted parking offered by Hotel just a couple blocks away. Would definitely stay there again."

Aura Hotel Times Square

"Good, convenient place to stay right off Times Square. My room barely had any natural light and two small windows, so it was constantly very dark but that wasn’t an issue for me. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean overall. The elevators were also a bit small and slow, but only had to wait a bit at check out time (when the elevators were very busy). Would definitely stay again!"
