"Excellent location! Smallish room but bed was comfortable to sleep in especially with my partner being very tall. AC was great. Bathroom and water pressure and everything else was great! Very cute atmosphere and chill cozy vibes in the lounge, love the drinks and snacks. And the rooftop, amazing. Overall great hotel 😊"

"This was my first time in Madrid and this hotel was perfect! Cant beat the location - walkable to the Royal Palace, the Prado, El Retiro, and Plaza Mayor. About a million options for food and shopping within a 10-15 minute walk. The room was somewhat small, but very comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering Gran Via was right outside the window, though I do always travel with a sound machine anyway. I recommend getting the room with a view of Gran Via. If you are looking for a low-key/quiet area to stay in, Gran Via is not it. But if you want to be close to the action it’s perfect! Would definitely stay here again."

"The property itself was a little run down - although quite charming because it is an historical building, but the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen facilities were spotless. My room was very small but perfectly comfortable. the staff on the desk spoke adequate English (I speak no Spanish, to my shame) and were always friendly and helpful. All in all, t was definitely value for money, and I would be happy to stay there again. The only problem was that some of the residents were a bit noisy at night and left the bathrooms with very wet floors - not at all necessary if one takes a little care! But this is hardly the hotel's fault."
