"The hotel is lovely but in some cases they went for fashion instead of function. Our room had a retro vibe but things like a hot and cold tap in the shower was funky but it wasn’t pressure balanced so you had to be careful not to get scalded. A nice vanity mirror with no outlet in sight. Small things but we were there for 5 nights. Room is small as expected and our room was on the 6th floor right below the restaurant and you could hear them moving tables and chairs above you. Lots of construction outside right now but we barely heard that. AC worked well and it was very clean. The breakfast was amazing. They have someone there to make you eggs or an omelet which was great. The restaurant for dinner was ok. Nice to sit outside with a great view but didn’t find the menu to be great so we only went for lunch when we got there. Lounge was good. Sometimes short staffed in the afternoon. The location to the train station was huge. You can take the train into old town very quickly. We bought a 10 trip pass and it worked great. Very convenient for day trips."

"The morning restaurant manager (black suit) is totally top notch. He was super accommodating to us. The afternoon/evening barkeep chased us out, rather abruptly, of the common sitting area because we’d brought dessert back to eat in the hotel after a long day out. While it’s fine to want a place food-free (there was no indication of such), I think it not fine that we were chased away like vagrants in a train station."
