"Room was advertised as a lake view, but was mostly buildings and had to really look for the lake lol. the comfort and cleanliness of the room itself was great though. beautiful property, parking garage was decent. the only issue we ran into was there being a $100 deposit required at check in that wasn’t advertised anywhere online when i specifically looked for extra fees, which definitely threw a wrench in our plans. breakfast was nice, ours was included with our room purchase, so we got vouchers for the buffet or an entree. if we had gotten down before 10:15 I’m sure it would have been a better experience. overall a great stay, would recommend, but not for broke people such as myself lmao"

"I am basing my review on price. This hotel is quite inexpensive and the property reflects it's age. I don't have any real "con's" to share, other than to say, the property is a bit dated but it appears they may be in the midst of doing updates. It would be nice to have some updated TV's as we couldn't even watch a movie but that wasn't a big deal to us. Everything worked as it should, and was clean. The beds were comfortable and had spotless white bedding. The common areas were kept clean and the lobby was well stocked with snacks. The kids enjoyed the pool every day that we were there. It was kept clean and stocked with towels. Staff were very nice and couldn't have been more helpful with every request we made. Best of all, the location was a quick 10-15 minute drive into Salem. This was well worth it at a fraction of the cost. Lots of restaurants to chose from within a couple minutes of the site. Overall, it was a basic hotel and well priced. We were pleased with the location and accessibility. It was clean and served our needs of needing a place to sleep and shower."
