We were in town for a quick weekend to catch a couple Giants games and chose to stay at LUMA due to its very close proximity to Oracle Park. Proximity to the ball park cannot be beat however know that traffic gets VERY busy in the area up to a couple hours before game time. We were often heading back to the hotel before game time so we got caught in traffic AND paid surge prices. Expect that this place is a bit older, with the charm of an old-fashioned elevator - substantial feeling - and a swinging 60s type decor. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. I appreciated the included breakfast, which just started our days of exploration off really well. We could walk or take transit to the things we wanted to see, and one of the cable cars was close enough to be an option for transit.
