This hotel is excellent

It was a fantastic stay I recommend to both my parents and friends came on a me vacation. Shuttle to the beaches so good. Plus your within walking to the 30 bus that takes you all the way to Pacific Beach. Along lajolla shores Melissa at front and Gavin at the bar were 5 star for sure Breakfast 10!

Super nice staff. Good room right next to the beach and close to the pacific beach action.

Shuttle service is hands down the best quality that we utilized. It allowed us to enjoy the area and know what we would like to do when we come back because it was such a great experience!! Shuttle service to old town.

The room was clean and everything worked well for the most part. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We loved the pool - clean and well-maintained. We would go back and highly recommend to others.

really good hotel to stay

This is a well managed and cared for property. It’s an older building, but it’s cared for. It offers a great vibe and the hotel staff and cafe staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are small, but provide you with the necessities and the beds are comfy with lots of pillows. The property is not close to any relevant beaches or attractions, but It is right of the I-5 and it has the transit train station a block away. I’d stay at the rambler again without thinking twice.

Overall great experience! Wonderful suite aside from seeing a bug in one of the prepackaged bed sets for the sofa beds. Everything else was clean and nicely maintained. Wish there was more than 1 elevator since it's really slow. Look forward to coming back to San Diego next year but will test out a different hotel!

Comfortable stay for a few days. Clean rooms and sheets. Convenient location.
