We had a beautiful suite and really enjoyed our stay. Very nice private, clean room. Lobby area is beautiful with many seating areas. A great location to explore San Diego a bit off the tourist congestion. We loved it!!😊

Things we liked: close to the highway but didn’t hear the highway. Lobby and pool area clean. Staff were awesome. The room however we were placed in was an “accessible room” and the bathtub drained very slowly. The room was also close to the main elevators which made it loud with guests coming and going. Room was a good size, although the pillows are half sized and mattresses are in the soft side. Overall I would stay here again, but would request a different floor level or further down the hall.

We stayed there Friday and Saturday night. The staff at the front desk were very nice and are room was very nice and comfortable. They had complementary small breakfast pastries in a basket at the front desk between 730 and 830am. This hotel was about 12 minutes from the San Diego zoo. The pool was heated and we enjoyed that. The morning at the pool was nice because we had it to ourselves and in the evening the pool gets crowded.

We recently stayed at the BW and I was very pleased with our stay. Location was convenient and close to most attractions. Hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was very nice and friendly and responded to requests promptly. My only suggestion is that the sofa bed mattress should be upgraded as you can feel all the springs on it . Otherwise no complaints.

Nothing wrong with the hotel. Nothing amazing either. Next door is a neat restaurant that has VERY loud live music that plays pretty late. Music rattled the windows to my room to almost midnight.

We had an excellent 2 night stay. It's right off the freeway but quiet. Immediately upon entering the lobby the hotel smelled clean. The heated pool was great and so was the complementary coffee in the lobby. I appreciated that the parking was free since most are charging these days. We would stay here again if we ever return to San Diego!

This hotel will take your deposit and your money if you do not cancel, although Expedia says that it is free cancellation. The property still attempts antiques peoples money without their permission.
