"The Nichols is a very nice, comfortable Inn located conveniently to the things we needed (walking distance to a nice local pub, close to pizza place, the Pottery..). The staff were very helpful and kind. The beds were comfy. The breakfast was good -- make tour own waffles, make your own omlet! Plenty of yogurt, pastry, and coffee. We were able to comfortably sit and gab with our relatives in the lobby. We had a great stay."

"We came for just a night away with the kids. They enjoyed the pool, it was just the right size for them to have fun & we could keep an eye on them the entire time. The rooms were clean-ish, but you could tell housekeeping got in and out, random smudges on the walls, some leftover crumbs from other guests.. not the end of the world.. but definitely not the cleanest place. We did have a plumbing issue around 10pm, the tub faucet broke and the water was continuously running. We did have to move rooms, but thankfully the room right next door was open & we moved in over there. The breakfast was a typical free breakfast, no complaints. Overall, it was a good price for what we came for & we’d come again!"

"We checked in at 4pm, when it says on their website that check in time starts. Upon arrival, we were told that our room wasn't ready yet and that they didn't know when it would be ready. We arrived at 4pm so that we could sit in the hot tub before the concert at Treasure Island started at 6pm. We missed out on the hot tub and had to get ready in the main hallway bathroom since our room still wasn't ready. It was dissapointing. And the hot tub is closed on Mondays so we weren't able to use it the following morning either. "

"Perfect house for our annual Girls Weekend! Not too often you can find a house with enough beds and 4 bathrooms to accommodate 10 women that's affordable! This was our 3rd year in a row at this place, and by far, our favorite. We tend to just hang out at the house and relax, but there is plenty to do in Lake City and lot of them within walking distance. The house has a beautiful view of Lake Pepin! "
